Portsmouth packs a lot of businesses into a small space, and on an island every customer is a neighbour who searched before they rang. We design and build a professional WordPress website around your trade, your patch and your reviews, then host and look after it for £49.99 a month.

Portsmouth
Dense, loyal, and decided on a phone screen.
Portsmouth is one of the most densely populated cities in the country, most of it on Portsea Island. Terraced streets in Fratton, Copnor and North End sit a few minutes from the naval base, the university and the seafront at Southsea, and the businesses that serve them are close together too: barbers and salons along Albert Road, cafés and bars on the seafront, garages off the Eastern Road, and a great many trades working out of vans parked on those same terraced streets.
That closeness cuts both ways. Customers are loyal once they have found someone good, but finding them starts on Google, and there is always another plumber, roofer or cleaner two streets away. The businesses that win the search are the ones whose website answers the first three questions at a glance: what do you do, do you cover Southsea or Cosham or Gosport, and how do I get hold of you.
We build websites that answer them. A proper WordPress site around your services, your part of the city and the way you like to be contacted, with your own photographs rather than stock ones where you have them, then hosted, secured and kept up to date by PrimeStart for one monthly price. You review it before anything goes live and you never touch the technical side.

On an island, local search decides who gets the call.
A salt-worn window frame in Eastney, a car needing a valet before it is sold in Cosham, a haircut before a night out in Southsea. Each starts as a search. SEO is ongoing monthly work on three agreed searches like these.
- 01“barber Southsea”
A search decided on photographs, reviews and whether booking is easy. The site needs to carry the feel of the shop and make the next appointment two taps away.
- 02“window replacement Portsmouth”
Salt air is hard on frames and seals, so this search is steady all year. Customers want to see finished installations and a straightforward quote route.
- 03“mobile car valeting Cosham”
People searching this want to know you come to them, what a valet includes and what it costs. A clear list and a booking route do most of the work.
Examples only. Your three searches are agreed with you around the work you want more of and what people in Portsmouth actually type. Nobody can promise a position, and we don't.

Complete the term and the website is yours to keep.
You are not paying for a page on somebody else's platform. After the 18-month minimum the website belongs to you, whether you stay with PrimeStart or take it elsewhere.

Portsmouth industries
Built around the business first, then around Portsmouth.
A barber on Albert Road and a window fitter in Drayton are chosen in different ways. Each website starts from that, then adds the areas it covers.
Everything a Portsmouth business needs from its website, in one monthly plan.
Design, build, hosting, security and the ongoing technical work are all part of the same plan, so there is nothing to add on and nothing to remember to renew.

- 1
Choose your plan
Pick Website or Website + SEO. Your first monthly payment is taken at signup.
- 2
Tell us about the business
A short onboarding in your Client Platform: services, areas, anything you want highlighted, your logo, any photos and the number you want calls to go to.
- 3
Ready to Build
We check we have what we need. If something's missing we'll say exactly what, and work with what you have where we can.
- 4
First draft
You see a working draft of your site, on desktop and phone, and tell us what to change.
- 5
Approve and launch
Reasonable in-scope revisions, then you approve it. Nothing goes live until you say so.
We aim to have your first website draft ready within 5 working days once PrimeStart has everything needed and confirms your project is Ready to Build. Payment alone doesn’t start the clock; missing details, revisions or domain delays can extend it.
You review the draft and request reasonable in-scope changes. If there’s a genuine problem we can’t put right within scope after reasonable attempts, we can cancel the agreement and refund Website subscription payments made, subject to any disclosed non-recoverable third-party costs.
