Your premises looks exactly like a house on Canonbury Square. That's a website problem before it's anything else.

Canonbury

A museum and a station in the middle of a district with no shopping street of its own.

Canonbury Square was developed between 1805 and 1830, and the wider area was designated a conservation area in February 1969, with East Canonbury following in 1989 and the New River conservation area in 1968. Canonbury Tower, rebuilt in the 1590s and later occupied by Francis Bacon and Oliver Goldsmith, still stands at the centre of it in private institutional use. The Estorick Collection of Modern Italian Art sits on the square in a Grade II listed Georgian townhouse. None of that is retail. Canonbury has never had a high street; its shops sit on St Paul's Road, Essex Road, Upper Street and Newington Green, at the edges rather than the centre.

What trades inside the boundary is quiet: private practices, therapists and clinicians, consultants, small studios, architects and designers, music and recording work, plus the property trades maintaining a listed and conservation-area housing stock. Canonbury station, on the Overground's Mildmay line next to Highbury & Islington, carries people east and west across London rather than delivering shoppers to a parade – there is no parade for it to deliver them to.

That produces a specific pair of problems for a website here, and most sites in Canonbury solve neither. The first is confidence before arrival: a stranger deciding whether to spend money on something personal needs to see, in plain words, who you are, what the appointment involves, what it costs and what your qualifications actually are, because there's no shopfront to reassure them on the way in. The second is arrival itself: which door on the square, which bell, how far from the station, whether there's anywhere to park. Get both right and a residential address stops being an obstacle.
