The High Road here runs between two tube stations, Piccadilly line at one end and Turnpike Lane at the other, past The Mall and on to Green Lanes. The area's Business Improvement District, Future Wood Green, has already put nearly £2 million into that stretch. A national retailer inside the Mall has a marketing team; an independent a few doors down the High Road usually has a phone and, if it's lucky, a website. We design, build, host and look after a professional WordPress website for £49.99 a month that gives an N22 business the same shot at being found first, and we can work on your Google visibility as well.

N22 searches get typed fast, mid-errand, often in a second language.
"Barber Wood Green", "restaurant N22", "estate agent Turnpike Lane": a High Road this dense and this diverse gets searched quickly and specifically, usually on a phone, sometimes in Turkish, Kurdish, Polish or Somali as well as English. Ongoing SEO is monthly work on three agreed searches like these, so more of those customers get the chance to find you before the Mall does.
- 01“barber Wood Green”
The High Road has barbers within sight of each other, so this is decided on photographs of actual cuts and how quickly a booking message gets answered, not on which shopfront is nearest the tube.
- 02“restaurant N22”
A multilingual, multi-community High Road produces a genuinely wide search, from a Kurdish grill to a Vietnamese kitchen to a chicken shop, and people search for the cuisine and the postcode rather than a brand they already know.
- 03“estate agent Turnpike Lane”
Renters and buyers moving along the Piccadilly line compare fee clarity and how current the listings look, and they do it before they ever walk past the branch window.
Examples only. The three searches are agreed with you around the work you want more of and what people on this High Road actually type. Nobody can promise a position, and we don't.

Two ways to start on the High Road.
A professional website, or that website with ongoing SEO from the start. Same standard of work whichever you need.

| Best for | For High Road and Turnpike Lane independents that already have the regulars and the reputation, and need a site that finally looks as considered as the unit they trade from, chain neighbours or not. | For businesses fighting the Mall's 101 shops and each other for the same customer, where being found in the search before someone walks past the entrance is worth more than the shopfront itself. |

Wood Green
A tube station on the retail street, a shopping centre at the end of it, and a High Road trading in between.
This is a genuine metropolitan town centre, not a village parade. The spine is the High Road, running from the Piccadilly line at one end down to Turnpike Lane station at the other, joining Green Lanes at both ends. Haringey's civic seat, Haringey Civic Centre, sits here too. A short walk west of the centre is the Chocolate Factory on Clarendon Road, established in 1996 by Haringey Arts Council and now home to around 200 local artists and a run of music, film and photographic studios, a different kind of independent trade to the shops on the High Road itself.
The High Road's other landmark is The Mall, opened on 13 May 1981 as Shopping City: 617,000 sq ft, 101 shops, 45 stalls and 7 anchor stores under one roof. The area's Business Improvement District, trading as Future Wood Green, won its founding ballot in early 2018 and has since been renewed for a second five-year term across an expanded area covering both this centre and Turnpike Lane. Its businesses collectively funded nearly £2 million of street improvements over the first term alone, and it runs a Street Rangers programme along the High Road.
That is the competitive reality for an independent trading here: a national retailer's marketing budget sits a few hundred metres away, inside a building with its own centre management. The website is where a small High Road business gets found before the search ever reaches the Mall's own listings, and it has to work in more languages than one, because trade on this High Road is genuinely multilingual and multi-community, and it has to work on a phone, because that is where most of it is decided.

Eighteen months, then the website is yours.
Future Wood Green has already put nearly £2 million of businesses' own money into the High Road since its first BID term began in 2018. A website you pay for monthly and never own works against that kind of investment. Complete the minimum term and this one belongs to you, whether you stay with PrimeStart or not.

Wood Green industries
The Mall sells everything under one roof. Wood Green's independents win by being the specialist.
A barber a few doors from the Mall entrance and an estate agent covering the streets toward Turnpike Lane need very different websites. Each starts from how its customers choose, then states the stretch of the High Road, or the postcode, it actually covers.
Everything a Wood Green business needs from its website, in one monthly plan.
Design, build, hosting, security and the ongoing technical work are all part of the same plan, so there is nothing to add on and nothing to remember to renew.
