Can customers order and pay for hampers online through the site?
No. The site's job is to show your hampers and gather a clear order enquiry — what's wanted, when it's needed by, and delivery or collection — that reaches you to confirm directly. It doesn't include online ordering, payment or courier delivery as part of the standard plan.
How much does a website for a delicatessen cost with PrimeStart?
Website is £99.99 a month for 12 months with no upfront design fee, or £899.91 paid upfront for the year (save 25%). Website + SEO is £349.99 a month in total, or £3,149.91 paid upfront for 12 months of Website and SEO. For new agreements, after the first 12 months the website continues automatically at £49.99 a month for hosting and aftercare, with no new minimum term, unless you give 30 days' notice; Website + SEO continues at £299.99 a month while SEO is still running. Existing customers keep the pricing in their own agreement.
We're busiest for Christmas hampers. Can the site handle the lead times?
Yes. Christmas hamper ordering, with realistic lead times, is set out clearly so customers and corporate clients know when to get an order in before your busiest weeks.
Can the site cover corporate gifting separately from everyday hampers?
Yes, if you offer it. Corporate gifting is shown as its own route with its own enquiry, rather than folded into the everyday hamper range.
How is a delicatessen page different from your cafe or farm shop pages?
A delicatessen sells a counter and hampers built for gifting and entertaining; a cafe sells food eaten on the premises; a farm shop sells produce grown or reared on-site. We write to whichever one your business actually is, not a shared template.
We make sandwiches to order. Are you aware of the allergen labelling rules?
We write with an awareness of the allergen labelling requirements for food prepacked for direct sale, but we're not a source of legal advice — your labelling practice is confirmed with you and, where needed, your own adviser.
Do I own the website?
Yes. On the monthly plan the site is yours after the agreed 12-month term, subject to the contract. If you pay upfront you can choose an early handover once the site is complete and approved, or keep it managed with us.
How long until my site is live?
Once we have your details and photos we design your site, show it to you, make your amendments and go live only when you've approved it. You'll see the first design before anything is public.
