Web design across Ealing
Web design across Ealing, called the 'Queen of the Suburbs' in 1902 and a genuinely mixed economy ever since.
PrimeStart designs, hosts and looks after websites for tradespeople and small businesses across Ealing — Ealing Broadway, Acton, Southall, Hanwell, Greenford, Northolt and Perivale. The modern borough was formed on 1 April 1965 from the older boroughs of Ealing, Acton and Southall, and it still runs as several different economies: a high street and film-studio town, a South Asian market district, an office and transport hub, and an industrial belt along Park Royal and Greenford. Built to name your actual patch of the borough, from £79.99 a month with £0 upfront design fee.

Why a website
Ealing was three separate boroughs until 1965. A lot of Ealing web design still talks about one place that isn't quite there.
Ealing Broadway kept its high street and its film studio. Southall, merged in the same 1965 act, built one of the UK's largest South Asian trading districts. Acton became an office and industrial district, and Park Royal and Greenford carry a different trade again. A website that says which of those Ealings it actually serves gets read properly; one that just says "Ealing" leaves the customer to guess.
They check which Ealing you actually work in
Ealing Broadway and Southall are genuinely different markets. Saying plainly which part of the borough you cover saves everyone a wasted enquiry.
They want to see the finished work
Photographs of jobs finished on streets they recognise do more to win trust than a general claim to cover the whole borough.
They want to know you're established
A proper website with your name, your area and your work says you're a serious business, not a name in a directory listing.
They want an easy way to get in touch
An enquiry form that reaches your phone catches the evening decision — someone comparing a few businesses after work, wherever in Ealing they're based.

Ealing
Three boroughs merged into one in 1965 — and each part still trades differently.
The London Government Act 1963 created the modern London Borough of Ealing on 1 April 1965, merging the old municipal boroughs of Ealing, Acton and Southall. Sixty years on, the borough still runs as several different economies inside one boundary. See Ealing Council's own page on Local Business Support.
“Queen of the Suburbs”
Borough surveyor Charles Jones coins the nickname for Ealing, reflecting its genteel high street and growing reputation as a well-planned London suburb.
Ealing Studios takes its modern form
The studio on Ealing Green becomes one of the world's oldest continuously working film studios, a distinct part of the borough's identity ever since.
The modern borough is created
The London Government Act 1963 merges the former boroughs of Ealing, Acton and Southall into the single London Borough of Ealing on 1 April.
Southall's South Asian trading district grows
Southall, absorbed into Ealing in 1965, becomes home to one of the UK's largest South Asian communities, most of whom are Sikh, with a busy retail and wholesale high street of its own.
The Elizabeth line reaches Ealing
New Elizabeth line stations serve Ealing Broadway, West Ealing, Hanwell and Southall, alongside continued redevelopment at North Acton next to the Old Oak Common HS2 works.
What it means for a business trading here today
Ealing Broadway's high street, Southall's South Asian trading district, Acton's offices and light industry, and the Park Royal/Greenford industrial belt are genuinely different markets. A site has to say which one it belongs to.
Ealing Studios and Park Royal, one of the largest business parks in London, sit inside the same borough as its residential streets — a borough with more going on commercially than its suburban reputation suggests.
The Elizabeth line and North Acton's continuing redevelopment next to Old Oak Common mean parts of the borough are still being worked on, not finished.
Getting found locally
An Ealing Broadway search and a Southall search are rarely the same customer.
"Accountant ealing broadway", "restaurant southall", "office cleaner acton" — the same borough behaves like different markets depending which part of it you're in. Website + SEO is the ongoing work of putting your business in front of those searches.
- Local searches, agreed with you. We pick the three searches that matter most to your business — say, "accountant ealing broadway", "restaurant southall" and "office cleaner acton" — and work on them every month.
- Google Business Profile. Set up and kept current, so you appear on the map for the part of Ealing you actually cover, with your hours, photos and a way to call you.
- Reviews from genuine customers. A simple way to ask happy customers for a Google review after the job.
- A page per district you serve. Ealing Broadway, Acton, Southall, Greenford — each written properly, not one page claiming the whole borough at once.
- A monthly report you can read. How each district you've targeted moved that month, set out in your Client Platform.
We never promise rankings or a number of customers. We do promise consistent, honest work on being found locally — and to show you exactly what we did.

Built for you
An accountant on Ealing Broadway and a wholesaler in Southall need very different websites.
Ealing's mix of high street, industrial and creative economies means two businesses in the same borough can have almost nothing in common. A template can't tell the difference. We can.
Every PrimeStart website is designed from scratch and custom coded on WordPress in HTML and PHP — no page builders, no theme bought off a shelf with your name typed in.
“The Ealing Broadway accountant needs a clear, professional case. The Southall wholesaler needs a site that works for trade buyers. Same borough, completely different website.”
Why Ealing Broadway and Southall never get the same site
- 1
Pages for the parts of Ealing you serve
Ealing Broadway, Acton, Southall, Greenford — each written for how people there search, not one page for the whole borough.
- 2
Your services, structured for search
Each service on its own page, described the way people across Ealing look for it.
- 3
Your reviews, where people look for them
Genuine Google reviews shown on the site, because Ealing covers several very different markets and reviews are what tell them apart.
- 4
An enquiry form that asks the right questions
Area, the job, photos and timing — so you can respond properly without a wasted first conversation.
