Web design near Bulls Cross

Bulls Cross is a Green Belt hamlet, not a town. A website here has to be honest about that, not dress it up.

Recorded since 1465, Bulls Cross today is Capel Manor College's gardens, Myddelton House and a scatter of historic cottages between Forty Hall and the New River — not a shopping street. With no passing trade to speak of, most businesses here are found through search, not a shop window. We build a website that's honest about that, for £79.99 a month with £0 upfront design fee.

Why a website

There is no shop window in Bulls Cross. The website has to be the whole first impression.

A Green Belt hamlet between Forty Hall and the New River has no passing trade for a business to rely on. That makes a proper website more important here than almost anywhere else on this site, not less — it is usually the only thing standing between your work and a search.

01

There's no shopfront to be seen from

With the nearest shopping street some distance away, a search engine result or a Google Business Profile is doing the job a window display would do elsewhere.

02

They want to know you actually travel out here

Bulls Cross and the wider Forty Hill area sit outside the usual town-centre coverage most tradespeople advertise. Saying plainly that you cover it saves a wasted enquiry.

03

They want to see real, finished work

Photographs of jobs finished on properties near Forty Hall do more to reassure than a general claim to cover "north London".

04

They want to enquire without ringing first

An enquiry form that reaches your phone catches the evening decision — someone comparing a couple of names after work.

Bulls Cross

A crossroads recorded since 1465, and never much more than a hamlet since.

Bulls Cross takes its name from a family called Bolle or Bull associated with a crossroads here, first recorded as Bedelscrosse in 1465. It has stayed a small, largely Green Belt hamlet ever since — which is exactly why a website here has to be honest about scale. See Enfield Council's own page on Enfield Chase Landscape Restoration.

What it means for a business trading here today

Small, and worth saying so.

Capel Manor College's gardens, Myddelton House and a scatter of cottages — not a high street. A website that pretends otherwise loses trust the moment someone visits.

No passing trade, real search demand.

With nothing to walk past, customers here find a business almost entirely through search and recommendation, which makes the website more load-bearing, not less.

A rural, Green Belt trade base.

Larger grounds near Forty Hall and the New River mean gardening, landscaping and fencing work are a real, recurring local need.

Getting found locally

With no high street, the search result is the whole first impression.

"Gardener bulls cross", "landscaper forty hall", "fencing contractor whitewebbs lane" — in a hamlet this size, these searches carry more weight than they would on a busy parade. Website + SEO is the ongoing work of making sure the right one finds you.

  • Local searches, agreed with you. We pick the three searches that matter most to your business — say, "gardener bulls cross", "landscaper forty hall" and "fencing contractor whitewebbs lane" — and work on them every month.
  • Google Business Profile. Set up and kept current, doing the job a shop window would do elsewhere, with your hours, your work and a way to reach you.
  • Reviews from genuine customers. A simple way to ask satisfied customers for a Google review once a job completes — worth more here than almost anywhere, with no passing trade to fall back on.
  • A page for the area you actually cover. Bulls Cross and the wider Forty Hill area written properly, rather than a vague claim to cover "north London".
  • A monthly report you can read. A straightforward account each month of what changed and what's next, in your Client Platform.

We never promise rankings or a number of customers. We do promise consistent, honest work on being found locally — and to show you exactly what we did.

Built for you

A Green Belt hamlet needs a website that works harder than a parade shop's, not a smaller version of one.

With no footfall to lean on, a business near Bulls Cross needs a site built to win a cold search and a clear statement of how far you travel — not a template built for a business with a shop window down the road.

Every PrimeStart website is designed from scratch and custom coded on WordPress in HTML and PHP — no page builders, no theme bought off a shelf with your name typed in.

“There's no shop window here. The website has to do everything a passer-by would have done somewhere else.”

Is Bulls Cross really this small, or are you underselling it?
It's genuinely small — a Green Belt hamlet with Capel Manor College's gardens, Myddelton House and a scatter of historic cottages, not a shopping street. We'd rather say that plainly than write copy that implies a high street that isn't there.
We work from home near Bulls Cross with no premises anyone can visit. Is a website still worth it?
Often, yes, precisely because there's no shop window. A website and a Google Business Profile become close to the only way most customers find you, since walking past isn't realistic in a hamlet this size.
How much does a website cost with PrimeStart?
Website is £79.99 a month for 12 months with no upfront design fee, or £815.90 paid once. Website + SEO is £349.99 a month in total, or £2,192.90 paid upfront. After the first 12 months, the service continues automatically at £49.99 a month with no new minimum term, unless you give 30 days' notice.
Do I own the website?
Yes. On the monthly plan the site is yours after the agreed 12-month term, subject to the contract. If you pay upfront you can choose an early handover once the site is complete and approved, or keep it managed with us.
We already have a website we like. Can you just do the SEO?
No. SEO is not sold on its own any more — it is only available as part of Website + SEO, £349.99 a month in total, and that means building you a new PrimeStart website rather than adding search work onto the one you have now. Nobody can promise rankings, and we don't.
How long until my site is live?
Once we have your details and photos we design your site, show it to you, make your amendments and go live only when you've approved it. You'll see the first design before anything is public.
