Why a website

Most people don't book a hearing test the first time they notice a problem. They book the third or fourth time.

By the time somebody searches for a hearing clinic, they've usually already decided. What's left is choosing where — and a website that answers plainly about registration, cost and what to expect wins against one that only shows hearing aid photographs.

01

They check the clinic is registered

Named hearing aid dispensers with their HCPC registration are the reassurance a new patient came looking for.

02

They want to know NHS or private

Told apart plainly, with eligibility and pricing stated honestly, answers the question a patient would otherwise have to ring and ask.

03

They want to know what a hearing aid costs

Published brands and price ranges matter to somebody who has already guessed it won't be free.

04

They want a simple way to ask

A form that starts the conversation and links to however you actually take bookings, rather than a live calendar that doesn't exist.

Getting found

Missed conversations send most people straight to a search bar, eventually.

"Audiologist near me", "hearing test", "tinnitus support" — the searches people in your area use once missed conversations become hard to ignore. Website + SEO is the ongoing work of being visible when they do.

  • Local searches, agreed with you. We pick the three searches that matter most to your clinic — say, "audiologist in Exeter", "hearing test" and "hearing aid clinic" — and work on them every month.
  • Google Business Profile. Set up and kept current, so you appear on the map with your hours, your registered team and a way to reach the clinic.
  • Reviews handled carefully. A simple way to gather genuine patient reviews, shown as written and never used to imply a clinical outcome.
  • Content that answers real questions. NHS eligibility, private hearing aid pricing and tinnitus support, written accurately for the people searching for each.
  • A monthly report you can read. What we did, what moved, and what's next for your clinic — set out in your Client Platform, without the analytics jargon.

We never promise rankings or a number of patients. We do promise consistent, honest work on being found — and to show you exactly what we did.

Built for you

A single-clinician practice and a multi-dispenser clinic earn trust differently. So should their websites.

A first-time patient and someone due for an aid upgrade have different questions and different urgency. A template can't tell the difference. We can.

Every PrimeStart website is designed from scratch and custom coded on WordPress in HTML and PHP — no page builders, no theme bought off a shelf with your name typed in. It's built around the evidence a patient is looking for: registration, NHS or private clarity, and how to book.

"A patient chooses a clinic they trust before they choose a hearing aid brand. The website has to put registered dispensers ahead of everything else."

  • 1

Named dispensers, with their HCPC registration

Where patients look for it, not buried in a footer.

  • 2

Told apart plainly, on the page that matters most

Because that's the first question a new patient has, and a missing answer costs a phone call they may never make.

  • 3

A simple way to ask, linked to how you actually book

Never a live booking calendar we haven't built — a form that starts the conversation honestly.

  • 4

    Each appointment described, not sold

What it involves and what a patient leaves with, written as evidence rather than a clinical promise.

Can patients book a hearing test through the site?
The site takes an enquiry, not a booking, and links to however your clinic actually takes appointments. PrimeStart sites do not include a live booking engine as part of the standard plan; the form collects the minimum needed to start the conversation.
How much does a website for a hearing clinic cost with PrimeStart?
Website is £99.99 a month for 12 months with no upfront design fee, or £899.91 paid upfront for the year (save 25%). Website + SEO is £349.99 a month in total, or £3,149.91 paid upfront for 12 months of Website and SEO. For new agreements, after the first 12 months the website continues automatically at £49.99 a month for hosting and aftercare, with no new minimum term, unless you give 30 days' notice; Website + SEO continues at £299.99 a month while SEO is still running. Existing customers keep the pricing in their own agreement.
Will our dispensers' HCPC registration be shown?
Yes, exactly as you confirm it to us. Hearing aid dispensers are a regulated profession, and a patient can check the HCPC register to confirm it. We never assume registration; you tell us what you hold and that's what appears.
Can the site describe wax removal and tinnitus support?
Yes, described as a procedure and as support respectively — never as a treatment that guarantees an outcome or cures tinnitus.
Can the site tell NHS and private hearing care apart?
Yes, and we build it to state eligibility and pricing plainly for each, so a patient doesn't have to ring and ask which applies to them.
How is an audiologists page different from your opticians page?
Both are independent, largely NHS-and-private high-street practices, but audiologists focuses on hearing tests, hearing aids, wax removal and tinnitus support, while opticians focuses on sight tests, frames and contact lenses — different regulators, different appointments, different patient concerns. If your business genuinely offers both, tell us and we'll build for the one that's the main business.
Do I own the website?
Yes. On the monthly plan the site is yours after the agreed 12-month term, subject to the contract. If you pay upfront you can choose an early handover once the site is complete and approved, or keep it managed with us.
How quickly will I see a first draft?
We aim to have your first website draft ready within 5 working days once PrimeStart has everything needed and confirms your project is Ready to Build. Payment and onboarding alone do not start that period. Nothing is published until you have reviewed and approved it.
